On November, 16, 2014 the Bad News Beaters and Surly Girlies of The Arizona Roller Derby League competed against each other for the second year in a row.

The Arizona Roller Derby League is the top roller derby league in Arizona. Ranking number one in Arizona for the last two years. Since 2013, the Surly Girlies and Bad News Beaters have made it to the final round, having to compete against their fellow team members. For many leagues this would cause a rift between the teams, making practice and social interactions tension filled. But for the members of the AZRD, camaraderie is what matters most.
